The service
CSV Repair is an independent bank CSV preparation tool for business bookkeepers. It is not affiliated with Xero or any bank. It provides technical transformations, not accounting, tax or legal advice. You must have authority to process each statement.
Preview and annual licence
Preview up to 20 output lines at no charge. Full downloads require a server-validated licence. The annual price is £99 GBP, for 365 days from payment confirmation, for one office and up to three users. No automatic renewal. Maintenance and support are included during that period. £99 GBP is the total price including applicable taxes.
The separate free remote MCP tool and JSON API validate or repair samples of at most 20 data lines plus a header (16,000 bytes). Samples are processed in server memory without saving their contents. Use synthetic or redacted samples and review all results; the browser workbench processes full files locally. See our privacy notice for purchase, email and licence-record retention.
Delivery and access
After a verified payment, the return page displays your licence key. Save it securely. The payment relay does not provide your email: enter your address on the return page to request transactional delivery. We deliver by email within 24 hours of payment confirmation and receipt of your email address. If the payment event supplies an email, delivery is automatic within the same period. Contact support for delivery problems and never pay twice. Internet access is required to validate a key on every download. Refunds, chargebacks and expiry revoke future downloads. Browser source is visible: the licence is an access control for the supplied interface, not copy protection.
Supported files and review
CSV text up to 10 MB and 100,000 transaction lines. UTF-8, BOM-marked UTF-16 and Windows-1252 are supported. Numeric day/month/year, month/day/year, year-month-day and English abbreviated months are supported. A four-digit year is required. Columns must have date and amount headings. No PDF, OFX, XLSX, multicurrency conversion or running-balance verification. Synthetic bank-style fixtures demonstrate selected layouts only. Future bank exports may differ.
Always review dates, signed amounts, totals, duplicate decisions and excluded rows against the original statement. Preserve the original and check for transactions already imported into Xero. Exact duplicates remain unless you select removal. Invalid rows block export. Text that could execute as a spreadsheet formula receives a leading apostrophe, which can change contact-name matching; review it before import. No universal import guarantee is made.
Availability and rights
We aim to maintain the supplied functionality during an annual term but cannot promise uninterrupted access. Contact CSV Repair support at suporte@api.rohnelt.dev for defects, access problems and complaints. Do not abuse the service, share keys outside your licensed office or attempt unauthorised access. Nothing here excludes non-excludable consumer rights, liability for fraud or other mandatory rights. Applicable statutory protections prevail over these terms.
